His invitations turned out so cute! I ordered them from Zazzle. They were a little more expensive than I would have liked, but they are worth it!
He will hate me for this someday. I plan on him wearing the hat and the bow tie at the party.....but he won't keep the hat on for anything!
These are the centerpieces for the tables. My mom made them....not a very good pic so it's hard to see what's in them. Hats, gold coins, beads, that kinda stuff. This week I have to get the kids goodie bags done, and get Drew's first birthday pictures taken! With him being sick the WHOLE month of feb, I'm a little behind on that!
In honor of Drew turning 1 in a few weeks, he finally gets to see what we see in the car!
Yes, I'm aware that it is recommended these days that you keep babies rear facing in the car until age 2. Let me tell ya what.....that is near impossible! His legs were already hitting the back of the seat, and he won't be 1 for 2 weeks! So that's not happening. Say what you will.....this is safer for him! He can stretch his legs! And now he gets to watch movies with big brother!! :)
Hope you all had a great weekend!! I got new end tables, coffee table, and a sofa table!!! Hollla. Home tour coming some time this week....as soon as my house is clean! haha!!!
Dont let anyone hate on you for your carseat choices. im all about safety but i dont think they even had car seats for us and here we are!
ReplyDeleteI hate when people preach their opinions about 2 year olds HAVING to be rear facing. it is not the law! so you do your thing, i will do mine. dont let the haters get you down! he looks like a real big boy in that seat!

I"m not going to preach, but I did want to point out that their legs are going to be bent up and that's safer than forward-facing.
ReplyDeleteLove the ST. pat's stuff.
This is going to be one of the cutest birthday parties!! I can't wait and I'm not even coming!!
